I thought "newvers.sh" > should get updated by any CVS commit. Read the archives. It's not that easy, but it's just a 'Small Matter Of Programming' that so far no-one has been willing to take on. There are signficant technical hurdles (CVS, CVSup) that need to be solved before it can actually be of any use.
