If you want hardback copies, you can order them in bookstores. To download them, you have to visit http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/mirrors-ftp.html and look for a ftp mirror close to you and then progress down the directories until you are at something similar to ftp://ftp9.freebsd.org/pub/os/FreeBSD/doc/ You can choose your language and what documents you want to download. The doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/ has almost everything.
