I applied D26344 to the sources (am now on r365391M) and rebuilt, and the problem is fixed. My context differs a little bit because I use u-boot. But was getting the u= sb3 hd resetting trying to write anything over about 2GB to the usb3 disk. dd if=3D/dev/random of=3D/usb3mountpoint/bigfilename.bin bs=3D1m count=3D3000 = would do it. I've not checked yet with md5/sha256 actually transferring files yet though. I'll try this when the system is less busy and post results here. In the meantime, the 1Tb external disk is zfs mounted at /usr/local and is running a poudriere(-devel) instance happily with loads over 10.00 and am seeing no filesystem or usb errors. It's as, if not more, responsive than an amd64 i7 system at similar load. I'm using GENERIC-NODEBUG now, but with no other changes like MALLOC_PRODUCTION though. --=20 J. --n2Pv11Ogg/Ox8ay5 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCAAdFiEE8n3tWhxW11Ccvv9/s8o7QhFzNAUFAl9amc0ACgkQs8o7QhFz NAUx3A//byljWO+zpXFds7V7KamUOVFnKzZTUZGkp9BnyZ4yuKj8Rjk3rPj0esRg lYKTSwdKx+kjpc8PbYhciI49YOtPuXLTeJhOiYxst+cp1vOx2opGioPNZmmcjRA7 EG9Rju3gUrvTSM2/O8SOAEg230RiZZ+w0dm3NTNuA/a+/vesAJE3OSKbHjt50Efc lSg/oHmV+ybToLcy35znRIOTbAznEs5QLHkRmB8NT+o++pDzhh31yvoekGh8Yoak UrpAIoK0WH6oN1bsEB29blKs5jIQyB8W75jFzwvTZonzMJLMBkmO+ITOGEvSpTFU GvDBkxUMyoP25C9z5NLH9qvX0o9Dv7luc+FH9c0RREpeOZ0sVcX+C4qU3C7kPDUA s3Bq18Yx/h8gV2qElLiFy4zT0USxhNFLBzdPcPbr91OKKQ65+63acXBLZiqSzZHI VzMU3RbTZ6TrRPID+VgsL2XO//Xa4YuGILFNaywgjnV1VbGJoEEI0z29VthWMfrg EGx4/NR1DcJ8VnKXmpkLTg+WU04wc8kACBKsp7Uo4FUIjrX97fPQkuE5DWZ83oDW 5KmHSVOci0mPi7s9DQigZ8jUKf7flt9m6n0k74uXFvyruJcmTJ8b4OEkdtHXr4Nk d00xCAowWxM6otvs5jnac5LCthDIXUUy25e1qp3Y5NJes59//k0= =NC7M -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --n2Pv11Ogg/Ox8ay5--
