It's not working, it's masking the real error, which is either in portupgrade or /usr/ports/Mk/bsd.ldap.mk. Normally, you get this error, when a port's Makefile specifies it depends on "something", but that "something" isn't installed by the port, which means the "is this dependency installed" check always fails. For me, it works: # ls /var/db/pkg/|grep ldap openldap-sasl-client-2.4.11 openldap-sasl-server-2.4.11_2 # make -C /usr/ports/net/nss_ldap lib-depends ===> nss_ldap-1.257 depends on shared library: ldap-2.4.3 - found -- Mel Problem with today's modular software: they start with the modules and never get to the software part.
