Well unfortunately it's not working still.
As I've mentioned it seems to work only
for login prompt (the moment after boot when "login:" is displayed).
Once I'm logged in I can't type accentuated chars anymore. Got nothing
special though. Just default xterm (set in /etc/ttys) and csh as shell.

Steve, yes the handbook I was trying to read is fr_FR.ISO8859-1. There is n=
o fr_FR.UTF-8 handbook unfortunately (at least did not find on svn).
Also should the handbook (the i18l section) be updated since vt(4) is defau=
lt driver?

report?
You could initially just submit this as plain text, or even better if you w=
anted to go the next step, as a diff to the handbook source.
