A question to the experienced: Would a PCI machine equipped with FreeBSD and these cards be suitable to act as a router between a FDDI/100BaseTX network? Is anyone running such a configuration? Can it be connected directly to a DECconcentrator900MX? Caveats? Cabling (SAS vs. DAS mode)? --Chris Christoph P. U. Kukulies kuku@gil.physik.rwth-aachen.de
