FWIW, I took a brief look at the freeWAIS-sf port, since I updated it. The problem seems to be that the "answer script" expect a /usr/local/ directory, that is it doesn't respect PREFIX. The solution is worse than the problem: nuke the script and make the port interactive :( cheers, Pedro.
