Yes, 'man stty' says : cstopb (-cstopb) Use two (one) stop bits per character. cs5 cs6 cs7 cs8 Select character size, if possible. for instance, try : stty cs8 -cstopb < /dev/cuaa0 The modem will automatically detect those settings when you enter the first AT command.
