Greetings, several months ago I reported odd failures with this 1522 that I have here (and the 1522A). Well, I just got them both working, in another machine. I believe that the problem was due to the Packard Bell hardware being every bit as horrible as people will have you believe rather than the drivers themselves. Both 2.1.6 and 2.2 gamma (feb 25?) were able to work well enough to boot. There were some problems when I tried to shutdown, but that was likely due to using a machine that didn't have an ethernet connection booting from a disk that expected one... It will be a while before I get the new mb to replace the packard hell machine, but I'll keep people informed. Warner "Don't even be tempted to think about buying packard bell" Losh
