Great news, thanks!
I've tried both the first and second version (on 7.2-RELEASE i386).
For some reason the installation fails to copy the kernel module to
/boot/modules although it is there in the package (I've built packages
using ports-mgmt/tinderbox) . Had to copy it manually.

Other than that it works like a charm and is *very* fast.
Will build packages for this version tonight.
