BTW, after seeing https://reviews.freebsd.org/D36295 , I somehow suspect th= at Hyper-V just doesn't accept setting 9600 baud rate and cause hang since I believe "8, N, 1" is still widely used. Souradeep, if you have time, can you help do tests of setting baud rate to = 9600 and 115200?
