There have been several nibbles, but no serious progress.  You should 
at the very least familiarise yourself with USB at the various levels 
before getting serious about this; it's not for the fainthearted. 8(

Toshiba aren't the best when it comes to documentation, I'm afraid.  
Still, don't let me put you off, especially if a USB subsystem will be 
forthcoming.  How can we help?
