FreshPorts does this for every commit to the ports tree. At present, there are 57 committeres opt'd in. Those that opt-in will be notified by FreshPorts of any errors in their commits. Errors such as this: $ make -V PORTNAME -V PKGNAME -V DESCR -V CATEGORIES -V PORTVERSION - V PORTREVISION -V COMMENT -V COMMENTFILE -V MAINTAINER -V EXTRACT_SUFX -V BUILD_DEPENDS -V RUN_DEPENDS -V FORBIDDEN -V BROKEN - f /usr/home/dan/ports/multimedia/xawtv/Makefile PORTSDIR=/usr/home/dan/ports 2>/tmp/FreshPorts.multimedia.xawtv.make- error.2003.6.10.5.5.41.47568 => "/usr/home/dan/ports/multimedia/xawtv/Makefile", line 23: Malformed conditional (${OSVERSION} < 500000) "/usr/home/dan/ports/multimedia/xawtv/Makefile", line 23: Need an operator "/usr/home/dan/ports/multimedia/xawtv/Makefile", line 25: if-less else "/usr/home/dan/ports/multimedia/xawtv/Makefile", line 25: Need an operator "/usr/home/dan/ports/multimedia/xawtv/Makefile", line 27: if-less endif "/usr/home/dan/ports/multimedia/xawtv/Makefile", line 27: Need an operator make: fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue -- Dan Langille : http://www.langille.org/
