 In the past; I've been able to upgrade the linux libraries simply
 by finding a linux machine and copying them over.

 And, I've done this before as well - ftp to redhat.com and grab
 the libraries from their distribution.

 All you likely need to do is place them in the correct location
 on your FreeBSD box.

 However, once, there were some changes needed to linux emulation to
 using newer linux  libraries... although, I don't believe that's the
 case for this small increment...
