I think the problem is that /usr/local/libexec/xfconfd is not run correctly. Both hald and dbus are running at startup, and the environment variable XDG_CONFIG_DIRS is set to /usr/local/etc I first tried portmaster -a after applying the patch and extracting the new ports. When that didn't work, I removed all xfce* ports and reinstalled them, giving the same result. Any ideas? (stale files?)
