Hello, I'm not sure this is the proper forum for this question, as I just received my FreeBSD CD-ROM from Walnut Creek, I am very new to all this... as my question will indicate. As I said, I just received my CD-ROM, and I made the two floppies as instructed, using rawrite. But when I try to boot my PC using the "boot" floppy it just hangs there (and beeps a lot!!!) Right at the point where it usually says "starting MS-DOS" (cringe) when I boot from a DOS disk. My PC is a 486DX-66, with 16M RAM, 2 SCSI Hard-drives, a 2X-CD-ROM and a 1.44M floppy. Does anyone know of any obvious problems (better yet solutions to this) that may be causing this ... Regards, Stefan Van Rafelghem
