hello, in an effort to allow myself to build ports that fetch code from cvs, i have created a writeup of my work so far: http://voltron.emptyrhetoric.com/cvs-ports.html along with fetching the sources from cvs, a pkg-plist is generated automatically as part of the build process. i would appreciate general thoughts and comments on this approach, and to the direction i should go from here. i plan on using this this on my personal systems, and possibly to automate the FreeBSD package release process of some projects i am involved with. is this something that could be integrated into the FreeBSD project in general? if so, let me know what steps i should take in developing the process. thanks for your time anthony ps - looking at the archives i see there was some cursory discussion of this topic in august 2000. did anything ever come of that? ===== aim: VoltronWing | icq: 78187293 web: http://voltron.emptyrhetoric.com ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
