Hi Duke,
Ok, lets try something, first of all I have checked the right way of
doing it, the syntaxes of the line its "set root_disk_unit=2" without the
quotes, then write "boot".
And for using a boot floppy to boot the system, you will have to try the
following (because I cant test it right now), first create the 3.3Release
kern.flp boot floppy ( "c:\fdimage -v kern.flp a:" ), then boot your FBSD
server (like always), and mount the disk in it "mount /dev/fd0 /floppy" then
"cd /floppy/boot", and edit the loader.rc file "vi loader.rc", and try just
this two lines in your file:
set root_disk_unit=2
autoboot 5
Then, just unmount your disk and try it, it should work (I have never done
it), you can play around this if this doesnt work.
