To be fair, the tests were conducted in a fair environment, and pointed out to both the Linux and BSD communities that not everything is perfect. Of course, it also gave us an incentive to fix the situation :-) The real question about the Mindcraft benchmarks is "who cares?". The benchmark did not represent a real-life situation. In a corresponding real-life situation (IIRC with dynamic HTML), Linux or FreeBSD will outperform Microsoft.
