Suricata has been lagging behind for quite some time now and for quality reasons FreeBSD must be quicker in adapting these patches. Yes, they work fine. Suricata developers take good care of FreeBSD compatibility including netmap support and the newer versions are already incorporated in FreeBSD in a release setting. https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=217116 https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=217143 Thank you, Franco
