I've seached all over the place for info on this but haven't been able to find anything. I have a SIS 6326 PCI card that has TV-out on it. It doesn't require any special drivers to use the TV out function - this is available at boot up provided a signal to the TV is detected. I pulled my regular videa card out and put the SiS 6326 in and booted in to windows. It was set to 640x480 by 256 colours. Windows came up fine on the TV and it asked for a driver disk for the new card it had found. Happy with that I rebooted into FreeBSD and made a copy of my /etc/X11/XF86Config file. I've tried all sorts of settings but I cannot get a usable display on the TV. What I do get is black and white lines flickering quite fast. I live in Australia and we have PAL TV's here. I'm not quite sure of the standard exactly. Can someone supply any details as to what would be needed to get the display wokring properly through my TV? I'd like to use 640x480 and 800x600 resolutions ideally. Thanks in advance, PJ http://digital.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo! Digital How To - Get the best out of your PC!
