https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=195808 Bug ID: 195808 Summary: latest build of libintl fails to install static library Product: Ports Tree Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: pete@twisted.org.uk I have two systems, both with intltool-0.50.2 installed using pkg. I upgraded another package on one system this morning, and it reinstalled intltool-0.50.2 as part of the process. The static librarys has gone missing in the process however. Am very susprised as the library version has not changed, and this breaks a number of things for me. Old system (not upgraded) [webadmin@turpentine ~]$ pkg info | grep intl intltool-0.50.2 Tools to internationalize various kinds of data files [webadmin@turpentine ~]$ ls /usr/local/lib/*intl* /usr/local/lib/libintl.a /usr/local/lib/libintl.la /usr/local/lib/libintl.so /usr/local/lib/libintl.so.9 [webadmin@turpentine ~]$ New system [petefrench@dilbert ~]$ pkg info | grep intl intltool-0.50.2 Tools to internationalize various kinds of data files [petefrench@dilbert ~]$ ls /usr/local/lib/*intl* /usr/local/lib/libintl.so.8 /usr/local/lib/libintl.so.8.1.2 [petefrench@dilbert ~]$ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
