smbfs is strange, partly a port, partly a kernel module, partly
dependant on compiling the kernel with certain options (which seem to
only be used for smbfs).

It would be nice if the whole thing just came standard with FreeBSD.
I find it tremendously useful, and it hurts my ability to work
when something gets out of sync and it stops functioning.
