i am setting up a local lan where my freebsd machine will route packets for other machines on my local network how do i assign new ip#'s to the other interface card i have on the freebsd machine and the other machines? freebsd machine (has 2 interfaces) fxp0 --> out to internet x10 <-- incoming from local machines (neeeds an ip#) local machine #1 (needs an ip#) i know you can create these ip numbers with the subnet mask. thanks pete collins To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
