It is a great port and totally simplifies the courier installation with ldap. The setup to use ldap with imap, pop, esmtp, etc. all come in one package and one authldaprc configuration file. That sure is better than trying to get each one working separately, IMO. Yarema did a great job on the port and the more I use courier the more I wouldn't go back to individual programs. ed Quoting Sematimba Noah Kevin : | | > how does it work for you? and what is better working with ldap sendmail | or | > qmail? | | I would suggest none of those and use instead postfix+ldap it compiles | nicely from the ports with a nice graphical interface that lets you select | which options you want to compile it with. | | Personally sendmail has some poor history and qmail seems to require | patching for almost every extra little bit of functionality you require | from it. | | Noah. | | | To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org | with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message | ------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
