Hello. Just out of curiosity, what sort of hardware are you running? I
get a similar kernel panic message ...
Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
fault virtual address = 0xc4b4641e
fault code = supervisor read, page not present
... while extracting large tarballs.
I'm using a ASUS A7M266 motherboard and, unfortunately, I haven't been
able to find a solution on this list (or freebsd-questions).
