I was wondering the same, but this piqued my interest... So commenting out the BROKEN entry, I tried the port, and it actually compiles just fine on 5.4/amd64, with all possible makefile options tried. I've not runtime tested it (I don't know the slightest thing about ocaml) but at least for me the BROKEN seems wrong on amd64.
