Suspend (apm -z) only works the first time after bootup. After the first wakeup, all other suspends fail silently (i.e. the screen doesn't go dark, no messages about SUSPENDREQ in syslog). 2. Standby (apm -Z) does the same thing anytime: Blanks the screen, spins down the drive, and after 3-5 seconds brings everything back up, because it thinks it got a STANDBYRESUME request. Attached are dmesg and apm logs of the system. I've disabled all "resume-on-X" settings in the BIOS, because I thought they might cause this (but no change). Any ideas?
