Pete did not specify what version of Netscape he was using, however there are a lot of websites (especially from financial institutions) that do not work with "version 6" browsers (ie: galeon, konqueror, and anything else based off of mozilla). This makes older, less actively developed browsers (especially netscape4) around quite useful/necessary. My two cents.
