Unfortunately mail to the submitter of this PR The MO drives that I've used (these old 1.3GB disks) were nowhere that slow. The speed like of a 10-year-old hard disk can be expected from them. So I'd say that 5 minutes is a large overkill, something like 5 seconds would be more appropriate.
