I'm going to prune vern out of this..

You can just grab the source archives and extract them on your Sun.
They're in the `src' directory underneath the SNAP directory.  They come
in `clumps', I guess.  When I say `clumps' I mean there is a set for the
kernel sources (ssys.*), core binaries (sbin.*), and so forth.

To extract them, just do

cat /path/to/s{part}.* | tar xzf -
