my Tyan S1668 Dual PP150 mostly froze. The system was not entirely looked up. It responded to pings and the keyboard num_lock, caps_lock lights would change if I pressed the keys. The netscapes were sitting idle. my home directory is mounted via NFS from another machine, however, /usr/src is local to the machine. before the lockup the system had been running for about 4 days.
