Hi, I read that you're the person to ask about this special scsi driver. Is this right? I have some trouble with a scsi device and I'm not sure if it really is the driver or the HW. HW: * AHA-2940UW controller * SyJet drive, removable 1.5 Gb cartridge Kernel: 2.0.33 Problem: The problem is that the drive randomly ejects the inserted media and I have no clue why. Additionally the eject Button will not be locked when the ext2 fs on the cartr. is mounted. The cartridge is randomly ejected even when mounted (nasty nasty). This happens after 2-5 minutes, even when the cartridge is periodically accessed (like sleep 10; touch /syjet/bla) Can you give me a hint how I can find out what's the matter? Is the aic7xxx driver outdated? Could I do some logging and send it to you so you maybe find the bug? I looked trough the driver, but I have not the time to find any bug, nor am I a scsi specialist :) Please send a reply, even if a bad one, or forward my mail to someone who is in charge, if it's not you. Thanks!!!!! So long, Thomas. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe aic7xxx" in the body of the message
