I have no preference whether this should come back or not, I know nothing about the www servers. :) However, our philosophy has been pretty open, and I'd like to keep it in there as long as someone is willing to maintain it. (We even got a question about it recently, right?) More choices for the user is never a bad thing, IMO. I'll ask Satoshi (not me, the porter of cern_linemode) if he would like to take this one too.
