Howdy all, Having probs booting since I had a power surge of sorts. In normal mode, the machine halts at: Mounting root from ufs:/dev/ad0s1a Single user mode, the same occurs. However if I boot into "safe mode", machine loads fine... although shortly after I get the following in my /var/log/messages: (not sure if this has anything to do with anything but I saw it and was curious) Feb 3 04:32:52 roadrunner kernel: Warning: pid 574 used static ldt allocation. Feb 3 04:32:52 roadrunner kernel: See the i386_set_ldt man page for more info I am running 5.2. Any ideas? Thanks! -Matt
