I'm trying to setup my sparc box as print server, and I'm confused with printer port setup - what devices in kernel config file should I uncomment ? I tried ppc, compilations stops saying that "ppc" is unknown. Tried some other combinations - ppbus, lpt, ppi, but I can't get /dev entries for parallel port. I'm not even sure what I should expect: /dev/ppc0, /dev/lpt0 ? Best regards, -- Michal Konieczny mk@capri.pl
