I don't see anything wrong with syscons on any of my machines, and I've never used pcvt. So long as I can install a proper keymap, it really doesn't matter much to me. Speaking as a software architect, however, the structure of the console drivers is a mess and I would like to see it fixed if this can be done without major difficulty or inefficiency. -GAWollman -- Garrett A.
