The reason why there are two ports in the tree is the stable version has not been not actually stable in the past. But I admit sysutils/puppet is too old as well. Since there isn't a problem report, I'll bump sysutils/puppet to more recent version. IMO, I need -devel, but I'd like to hear inputs from others.
