Is it possible/reasonable to want subversion to cooperate with WITH_APR_FROM_PORTS? Currently it either builds with apr from ports if not using Apache, but apr from the source tree (apr-svn? or Apache's own) which gives messages about "you may want to uninstall the devel/apr port". I really want to use the shared port version for development reasons (apps using apr here) but it seems not to be supported in the Makefile. Is there a good reason? I would like to create/submit a patch which lets subversion use devel/apr if Apache is using WITH_APR_FROM_PORTS. -- Matt Sealey <matt@genesi-usa.com> Manager, Genesi, Developer Relations
