This is Chiharu Shibata, sorry for long delay. At Fri, 21 Apr 2000 04:55:50 JST, wilko@FreeBSD.org said... >I'm trying to clean up some old PRs/change requests and I just saw your's. >I cannot verify the contents of your patch anymore, as the file >is (long?) gone from ftp.freebsd.org. Can I assume the SCSI-CAM system that >is part of FreeBSD 3.X / 4.X and -current addresses your needs? No. Under my understanding, SCSI-CAM system is the protocol between the SCSI device type driver and the low-level host-adapter driver. The other hand, my patch is to give the parameter to the low-level driver, so that the low-level driver can know characteristic of each SCSI peripherals. The same file which I put ftp.freebsd.org can also get from <http://plaza17.mbn.or.jp/~chi/myprog/FreeBSD/scsi-userconfig.tar.gz>. -- Chiharu Shibata chi@bd.mbn.or.jp <http://plaza17.mbn.or.jp/~chi/> Powered by FreeBSD.
