Are you announcing routes out to the service provider?  In my case my 
"provider" (actually it's an internal kind of thing) expects me to 
announce routes via RIP.  So I have to run "routed -s".  The default  (in 
/etc/sysconfig) is to set the routed flag to "-q", which means routed 
only receives routes - it doesn't announce them.

My net is viewable as "http://www.newell.arlington.va.us/mcnet.html".  If 
it's similar to what you're doing I can send you more detail on my 
setup...
