Hello All, Looks like another series of bug fixes to BIND.... From their web page at http://www.isc.org/products/BIND/docs/bind8.2_highlights.html Bug in named-xfer (from patchlevel 4). Portability to IPv6 versions of FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD. Portability improvements (A/UX, AIX, IRIX, NetBSD, SCO, MPE/IX). "also-notify" option could cause memory allocation errors. IXFR improvements (though client-side is still disabled). Contributed software upgraded (including TIS's "dns_signer"). Several latent denial-of-service bugs fixed (from audits, not abuse). New "make noesw" top-level target for removing encumbered components. The second last point seems to imply other bug fixes not present in the previous patch. ---Mike ********************************************************************** Mike Tancsa, Network Admin * mike@sentex.net Sentex Communications Corp, * http://www.sentex.net/mike Cambridge, Ontario * 01.519.651.3400 Canada * To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-security" in the body of the message
