I'll probably wait a bit to see what develops. Besides, right now I'm in the process of replacing a missing employee and don't have much spare time to play with my home system. Re: my 3C900, it really is the 900 and not a 509. It's a PCI PnP combo card with a boot ROM socket. As for having my scanner on a separate card, that's due mostly to inertia and not wanting to spend the $$$ on a custom cable. Thanks again, Troy Smith
