Hi Duke,

    Yes, you can boot with the install floppies, and then use the fixit
floppy (fixit.flp) to have a shell (there is an option in the sysinstall
menu to use the fixit floppy), then munt your / partition in /mnt, and
change the file "/etc/rc.conf" as you need.

P.S. I may suggest to always copy to the list, because there are a lot of
people with better ways of doing things, and also a lot of people that are
learning from others questions.
