I currently have a Digital Starion 932 120mhz Pentium with 16 meg, a Gold Star 540(?) and a Toshiba 4x CD-Rom. Also a Cardinal 28.8 External Fax/Voice modem. I will upgrade this to a cyrix 133mhz chip and 40 keg. Please let me know also what would be the difference between this and Linux. At the tender age of 53 I am having to learn unix, FreeBSD and Linux were recommended for me to use at home for learning and also just a very O/S.I have a copy on a CD-ROM that says Free BSD 1.1 Release is this still any good? Thanks for your assistance, and patience for answering proably some dumb questions but I have a slow learning curve.
