It generally consider rude to simply pull an NTP feed from a server without first contacting the admin and letting them know your intent - but not always - some places don't care but these are few. I'm using two "public" NTP servers here in the US. One just wanted an email indicating I was pulling the feed. On the other, the admin had to get my email and then change his config to allow me to pull the feed. -- Sean O'Neill
