--d6Gm4EdcadzBjdND Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable [please CC' a copy of the mail to me; thanks. I am not subscribed to -standards] Hi all. I was wondering why we have an ICMP6_TIME_EXCEEDED, but not a ICMP_TIME_EXCEEDED. On an IRC channel, I proposed that we either: o define ICMP_TIME_EXCEEDED ICMP_TIMXCEED; o change the ipv6 code to make use of ICMP6_TIMXCEED for historical reasons. I dont know much about standards, so I have emailed here on how and which approach should be taken. Thanks in advance. --=20 Hiten Pandya http://storm.uk.FreeBSD.org/~hiten Finger hiten@storm.uk.FreeBSD.org for PGP public key -- 4FB9 C4A9 4925 CF97 9BF3 ADDA 861D 5DBD E4E3 03C3=20 --d6Gm4EdcadzBjdND Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (FreeBSD) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE9JEGNhh1dveTjA8MRAjsaAKDXPOotYBTObi1hNit4bNhnf3BpAACgvQLG 1o/wlDba7Kz35gUpM0MK3E4= =0leF -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --d6Gm4EdcadzBjdND-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-standards" in the body of the message
