trying growsisofs gives:

:-( unable to CAMGETPASSTHRU for /dev/cd0: Inappropriate ioctl for device

The package doesn't work, just as with cdrtools, compiling from ports works. This may be the same issue I had with 9.0R in which some packages were not updated after a change in the SCSI layer and had to be compiled from ports to work.
