Pasting in my xterm gives me "postfix" but pasting in Firefox > gives me "http://freshmeat.cpostfixom/". I have noticed that numerous applications, including HTLM forms tend to insert where-ever the mouse pointer is rather than where the cursor is. Or, maybe, as soon as you click the mouse to do the insert, it first changes the cursor position to wherever the pointer is and then does the insert. So, I just have to make sure I move my mouse pointer to exactly where I want things to insert. I get caught on this frequently. I don't know if that is what your situation is, but it sounds like a possibility, so check it out. ////jerry > > Any ideas? > > -- > Peter >
