I haven't seen him comment on it one way or another, though I've also scarcely seen him anywhere else on ML's or other github activity in that time, so I presume he's pretty busy elsewhere ATM. Maybe one of those ridiculous "job" things... I did get a message from someone else pointing at a slowdown caused in portversion I haven't had a chance to look at; I've just used `pkg version` since pkgng stopped being ng.
